Credit Life and Disability
In the event you become totally disabled by sickness or an accident, Credit Disability Insurance pays your loan payments up to the policy maximum. The premimum for this service is added to your regular monthly payments. For full policy details, ask your credit union representative.
Gap Advantage
Guaranteed Auto Protection (GAP) Insurance protects you against financial loss in the event your vehicle is damaged beyond repair or stolen and never recovered. Because your vehicles value declines as a result of depreciation, the loan balance can be higher than the cash value of the vehicle. Without GAP you would be responsible for paying the difference between the insurance settlement and the outstanding loan balance! With the purchase of GAP coverage, the deficiency balance is waived and GAP also provides the member with $1,000 toward the purchase of another vehicle financed through RAFE Federal Credit Union.
GAP Advantage must be purchased at the time the loan documents are being signed. Please call the credit union for premium costs.
